Meet the team

Tom is a fully chartered and HCPC registered physiotherapist with a wealth of experience across multiple areas within the NHS, professional sport and private practice.

After graduating from university with a First class BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy, he specialised in the management of musculoskeletal injuries, developing a special interest rehabilitation and the link between mental and physical health. As a specialist in rehabilitation, Tom is able to work with people to help them achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. He currently works in professional rugby union and with England Boxing. Prior to this he worked for the NHS for 14 years and in professional rugby league, with career highlights as a physio including grand finals, cup finals and the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. Outside of work Tom loves spending time with his young family, as well as going to the gym and running.

Mark is a Strength and Conditioning Coach who achieved a First class (Hons) in Sport, Fitness & Coaching in 2021. Prior to this he was a professional rugby league player with a long and illustrious career, with highlights including playing Super League for Wakefield Trinity and winning the Northern Rail Cup in 2010 with Batley Bulldogs.

Since retiring in 2016 he has dedicated his career to helping others achieve their fitness goals, whatever their ability. He continues to work in professional sport as assistant coach at Batley Bulldogs, and was also part of the grand final backroom staff in 2022, and Wembley Cup Final 2023. Mark is formally of Huddersfield University where he worked as a Sports Leader and Strength & Conditioning Coach. In this role he led on the development of sport and exercise for people with physical disabilities. He is an experienced personal trainer and now splits his time between 40/20, coaching in professional sport and Batley Sporting Foundation. In his spare time Mark enjoys hiking, mountain biking and wild swimming.
